The Tzohar Station also belongs to the Ofakim cluster. Its personnel have a unique story of working under fire, fighting for the lives of the injured, and demonstrating camaraderie and solidarity. MDA teams dispatched to emergency calls in the Gaza Envelope found they could not evacuate the injured to hospitals immediately as usual, because numerous terrorists were moving along the roads and attacking anyone who passed by. With great resourcefulness and a deep commitment to the well-being of their patients, the teams set up an improvised clinic inside a synagogue in the community of Neve, brought the injured there and treated their wounds, while maintaining continuous contact with the MDA dispatch center and working together to evacuate them.
