Fell at age 37

Moti was in the midst of his training as an emergency medical medic at Magen David Adom. His friends and instructors described a man full of joy, sharpness, professionalism, and a great motivation to contribute and save lives.

Avia Goldstein, a Magen David Adom paramedic and the course instructor, said of him: “He was full of joy, motivation, sharpness, and professionalism.”

Moti fell in battle in Rafah on July 25, 2024, on the very day he was supposed to receive his Phase A completion certificate for the medics course. His friends at Magen David Adom accompanied him on his final journey and dedicated their continued studies in the course to his memory.

Moti is survived by his wife, two daughters, parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

A Magen David Adom ambulance bearing his name was dedicated in his memory to continue the work of saving lives. During the dedication ceremony, his family received the medics course completion certificate he was meant to receive on the day he fell, and the remainder of the course was dedicated to his memory.

May his memory be a blessing.
