Lior grew up in Dimona and began her journey at Magen David Adom as a youth volunteer. During her approximately five years of volunteering, she mentored and trained many young people and was known for her desire to learn, specialize, and help others. Talia Ben Naim, a Magen David Adom medic and her friend, recounted that Lior “helped everyone and cared for patients as if they were her family.”
Lior was an outstanding student and dreamed of pursuing a career in medicine. In the IDF, she served as a Combat Operations Officer in the Southern District of the Home Front Command.
On the morning of October 7, she fell during the terrorist attack on the base where she served.
Lior is survived by her parents, a sister, and two brothers.
An ambulance bearing her name was dedicated in her memory and stationed at the Dimona Magen David Adom station. The volunteer room and study rooms at the station were dedicated in her memory, and the volunteer team was named “Team Lior.”
May her memory be a blessing.
