Fell at age 23

Amir began his journey with Magen David Adom during the military paramedic course. During his practical training on Magen David Adom intensive care ambulances, he stood out for his curiosity, professionalism, and humane approach to patients, and later remained a Magen David Adom volunteer. Yagel Ron, an EMT at Magen David Adom Jerusalem, said of him: “From the very first shift, it was clear that an intensive care ambulance was his natural place.”

Amir was an officer and paramedic in Sayeret Matkal, but the world of medicine was only one of his areas of excellence. He was a man of many talents. In his childhood, he sang in “Ha’Efroni” choir, played the piano, was an Israeli champion in orienteering, and even represented Israel in international competitions and the Youth Earth Sciences Olympiad.

On the morning of October 7th, Amir was among the first to arrive at his unit and subsequently among the first to reach the combat zone. He fell in battle for Kfar Aza.

He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Ga’ash. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.

In his memory, a Magen David Adom ambulance bearing his name was dedicated, and thus his mission to save lives continues.

May his memory be a blessing.
